This photobook documents "YKD," a crew that includes Okinawa-based graffiti writer TORU. It follows the period around 2013 and 2014, when TORU and the other members continued painting throw-ups throughout Okinawa. The book captures their presence as representatives of a particular era in the graffiti scene, together with the landscapes and moments surrounding them, creating a documentary portrait of their world. Approximately the final third of the book is presented in a blackbook format, combining a cultural archive with practical functionality.
